In
December 2007
gb Leighton
began recording their first new studio album in two years.
Brian and the
band
recorded at the legendary Winterland
Studios in Minneapolis on
December 13
with renowned producer Don Dixon, who has worked
his magic behind the mixing board for R.E.M.,
The Smithereens and Chris Stamey. Guest starring
on the release is acclaimed rock drummer Kenny Aronoff, who has
provided rhythm for John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan,
Rod Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi and Elton John, and
who was named the #1 Studio Drummer for five
consecutive years by the readers of Modern
Drummer Magazine. The new album
is slated for a Spring 2007 release.
