Keyboards

Mark began his classical training at the age of 5. These lessons carried through high school and his senior year.  Mark’s sophomore year, he joined his first rock and roll cover band and was hooked from that point on.  He spent from 1994 - 1999 studying Jazz Piano at the University of Minnesota Duluth after which he was hired by Blue Sky Artists to play piano for burgeoning Sony artist Amanda Harris from 1999-2001. Shortly after, Mark was hired by singer Mike Terrio and toured the Midwest from 2001-2003 playing his original music and further developing his musical talents.  From 2003 - 2007 Mark continued to free lance with local original and variety bands including The Don Douglas Band and The Express Band as well as performing in a piano trio for the Sunday Jazz Brunch at the California Café in the Mall of America.  In June of 2007 he joined GB Leighton and says he is having the time of his life!

Mark has a wife (Krista), three daughters (Kathryn, Regan, and Scarlett), and a German Shepherd named Maggie.  He is 32 years old (2007) and lives in Minneapolis, MN.
