How could you sum up Mark Wight?  I guess there are only two words that come to mind:  Not much. He’s basic - yeah he’s strong and could kick my ass, but so what? Mark’s a better piano player than me, and might be a better singer than me but you’ll never know ‘cause I won’t give him the chance.  Jazz flute was initially his main interest, but he soon switched to clarinet.  While moving pianos for Schmidt Music (which he did for five years), Mark thought he would give piano a try.  When he started playing he was a skinny pup with long hair and realized quickly that he’d better get some muscle to make it as a keyboard player in a bar. That was the start of the steroids. I never heard him play and was going on a whim when I hired him a month in advance of his first show with gb leighton.  What can I say?
