The Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater to Host
Intimate Concert Series Benefiting Camp Heartland
A Different Kind of Concert
The Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater is
proud to host a series of intimate concerts with local greats gb
Leighton, Mick Sterling, Kevin Bowe and The Okemah Prophets,
John Gorka, and John Hermanson.
Both fan appreciation night and fundraiser, the BLB
Sessions will give the audience a chance to see their favorite
artists perform in an intimate 90-seat theater, hear the stories
behind their songs, and listen to new material as well as old
favorites.
More than just a ticket
Tickets will include a FREE James Page beer or root beer, a FREE
souvenir pint glass, and a FREE raffle ticket for a chance to
win great prizes.
The concerts will be recorded and broadcast on KQRS' Homegrown
Show, and the highlights will be compiled on a CD to go on
sale this summer.
The chance
to give kids who live with HIV a chance to just be kids
All proceeds from the BLB
Sessions will go to benefit Camp Heartland, the world's largest
camping and outreach program for kids affected by HIV or AIDS.
Through their week-long summer camping programs and year-round
"mini-session" reunions, Camp Heartland helps these kids make
friends, have fun and develop new skills and self-confidence
that will help them be successful throughout the year.
