The first full confirmation of a 2001 festival lineup came from the Bishopstock Festival (May 26-28).  The festival will celebrate its fifth year with Ray Charles Trio as the special guest of honor.

Also appearing will be Johnny Winter, Taj Mahal, and Buddy Guy headlining, plus sets from the Delta Blues Cartel, Olu Dara, James Cotton, Indigenous, Guy Davies, Michael Hill’s Blues Mob, Shemekia Copeland, Charlie Musslewhite, Otis Grand & The R&B Allstar Revue, Anson Funderburgh featuring Sam Myers, Ellen McIlwaine, Freddie Roulette, Lazy Lester with Blues ‘N’ Trouble, London Community Gospel Choir, Susan Tedeschi, Joe Louis Walker, & the Bosstalkers with Billy Branch, Koko Taylor & her Blues Machine, Joe Bonamassa, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers, Mighty Sam McLean, Mighty Mo Rodgers, and gb Leighton.
