gb Leighton performs annually in Rochester, MN at the Shjon Podein benefit for the Children's Foundation.  Shjon is a member of the Colorado Avalanche Hockey team.

The primary mission of the Shjon Podein Children's Foundation, a non profit organization established in 1997, is to improve the quality of life and create and environment of caring and community support for children facing extraordinary difficulties.
